Job Summary

As the Senior Legal, you will play an essential role in providing strategic legal advice and guidance to support the operations of the organization. This position involves overseeing a wide array of legal matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, mitigating legal risks, and representing the company's interests in negotiations and legal proceedings. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in corporate law, a profound understanding of Indonesian legal frameworks, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to excel in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior legal advisor and collaborate with other internal stakeholders to offer legal advice, guidance, and strategic direction for the operations of Jago Coffee, including identifying, developing, and executing strategies and initiatives that accomplish the company's business objectives while maintaining legal compliance.
• Protects, defends, and represents the company in external engagements with government authorities, regulators, and other external parties.
• Drafts, reviews, and negotiates a diverse array of complex commercial contracts, including both standardized and unique agreements.
• Ensure that legal agreements and establishments adhere to Indonesian laws and regulations and the company’s policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law
• Having a law degree and at least having 4 years of working experience in a legal corporate environment within a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Prior experience in a startup company is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of relevant Indonesian laws and regulations.
• Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal agreements and contracts.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen understanding of corporate actions, mediation, arbitration, and litigation.
